Guide
Using DialFox Asterisk Phonebook, the common shared phone directory based on CMS/LAMP build for Asterisk PBX, store name and number into MySQL which will be used by each workstation browser, also by telephones with embedded browser feature.
The directory are splits in two sections, one local and an global phonebook. On the right side will be the local asterisk extensions, thier left are the outside global numbers.

It is still possible, click to dial numbers out from browser.
While click to selected number
your phone is ringing, after pickup your phone the call process to the destination
number is executing.
Before you'r able dial out from browser, choose settings
icon
from top of the navigation and add your extension "Local
Nr." and if given your prefix "Prefix Nr." now
click "Start Browser Link" button, create your
shortcut while drag the URL from the browser address line to the desktop
or any place you prefer.

The central directory are opened by snom telephones, in which the XML-site of the Asterisk PBX is fetched. Incoming calls will be displayed with name, number to name resolution will lookup from the local and global phonebook. Calls from PSTN resolve by the landline provider.
This is to activate with insert the URL to snom action button. Go to your snom site Preferences then under Setup click Function Keys, insert the URL you find beside the "snom Actions URL".

Press the key you chosse for the phonebook, it should to appear the phonebook on the snom LDC display.

In addition, are will be show retrieved Incoming and Outgoing calls, here
the corresponding examples
